Comanche County is a one of the county from Oklahoma's 77 counties, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. In 2000, county's population was 114996 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 111772, giving it the fourth largest population among Oklahoma's county. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1083.82 mi˛ (2807.08 square kilometre), of which, 1069.35 square miles (2769.6 square kilometre) of it is land and 14.48 square miles (37.5 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 15th largest by area in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.

The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 111772, The racial makeup of the county was 78282 White, 20900 Black or African American, 6405 American Indian, 2435 Asian, 480 Native Hawaiian, and 3270 from two or more races.
