Columbus City is a city located in Colorado County, Texas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of the city was 3916 as per the 2000 census data. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 3886, It is the 409th most populous in the U.S. state of Texas. It covers total area of 2.82 sq mi (7.3 kmē), makes it the 659th largest by total area in Texas.
