Columbia City is a city located in Maury County, Tennessee, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The city has a population of 33055 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 34402, giving it the 15th largest population among Tennessee. The city encompasses an area of 29.61 square miles (76.69 kmē ), of which, 29.6 square miles (76.66 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 16th largest by total area among Tennessee.
