Colquitt County is a county located in Georgia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The county has a population of 42053 as per the 2000 census data. Its population was estimated at 45279 in July 2008, It is Georgia's 45th most populous county. It has total area of 556.55 miē (1441.46 kmē), of which, 552.27 square miles (1430.37 kmē) of it is land and 4.28 square miles (11.09 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 19th largest by total area in Georgia.
