Colorado Springs City is a city located in the El Paso County, Colorado, United States. It is home to over 360890 people (2000 census). According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 380307, It is the second largest by population in the U.S. state of Colorado. The city extends throughout a territory of 186.13 sq mi (482.07 sq km ), of which, 185.74 square miles (481.06 sq km) of it is land and 0.39 square miles (1.01 sq km) of it is water, it is the largest by area in the U.S. state of Colorado. It is ranks 12 in the size of its inland waterways in Colorado.

As of the census of 2000, there were 360890 residents, 141516 households, and 93049 families in the city. The population density was 1942.9 people per square mile (750.16/kmē), it would be the 79th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Colorado.
