Coldwater City is a United States city located in the Comanche County, Kansas, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 792 as per the Census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 779, giving it the 238th largest population among Kansas. The city has a total area of 2.97 mi˛ (7.69 square kilometre), of which, 2.63 square miles (6.81 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.34 square miles (0.88 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 72nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Kansas. It is ranks ninth in the size of its inland waterways in Kansas.
