Colby City is a city located in the Thomas County, Kansas, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 5450 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 4803, It is 54th most populous in Kansas. It is spread over 3.34 sq mi (8.65 sq km), it is the 63rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Kansas.
