Cody City is a city located in the Park County, Wyoming, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 8835 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 9309, It is the tenth largest in terms of population. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 9.52 square miles (24.66 sq km), of which, 9.28 square miles (24.04 sq km) of it is land and 0.24 square miles (0.62 sq km) of it is water, it is the 46th largest by area in the U.S. state of Wyoming. It is ranks 12 in the size of its inland waterways in Wyoming.
