Coalmont City is a city located in the Grundy County, Tennessee, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Coalmont City is home to 948 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 945, giving it the 115th smallest population among Tennessee. Its area is just over 6.08 miē (15.75 kmē), of which, 5.95 square miles (15.41 kmē) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 kmē) of it is water, it is the 147th largest by area in the U.S. state of Tennessee.
