Coalinga City is a United States city located in the Fresno County, California, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 11668 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 18974, It is the 406th largest by population in the U.S. state of California. It has total area of 5.96 mi˛ (15.44 sq km), of which, 5.94 square miles (15.38 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 485th largest in terms of geographical size.
