Coachella City is a one of the Riverside County, California, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 22724 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 39391, giving it the 289th largest population among California. The city has a total area of 20.82 mi˛ (53.92 sq km), making it the 145th largest by size in California.
