Clute City is a city located in Brazoria County, Texas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. Clute City had an official population of 10424 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 10765, making it Texas's 204th largest. It is spread over 5.64 square miles (14.61 square kilometre), of which, 5.35 square miles (13.86 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.29 square miles (0.75 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Texas's 385th largest by total area.
