Clio Town is a town in the Barbour County, Alabama, United States. In 2000, the population was 2206. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 2210, making it Alabama's 184th largest. The town encompasses an area of 10.06 square miles (26.06 square kilometre ), of which, 10.06 square miles (26.06 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 131st largest by size in Alabama.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 2206 people, 434 households, and 278 families living in the town. The population density was 219.4 people per square mile (84.71/kmē), it would be the 321st most densely populated town in the U.S. state of Alabama. There were 527 housing units at an average density of 52.4 per square mile (20.23/kmē). The average household size was 2.41 persons, and the average family size was 2.97 persons.
