Clinton Town is a town in the Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. Clinton Town had an official population of 2632 in 2000. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 2544, making it New Jersey's 130th smallest. It is spread over 1.42 square miles (3.68 kmē), of which, 1.37 square miles (3.55 kmē ) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 kmē) of it is water, it is the 149th smallest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
