Clinton County, Pennsylvania is a county of the United States of Pennsylvania. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 37914 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 37038, giving it the tenth smallest population among Pennsylvania's county. The county spans an area of 898.09 mi˛ (2326.04 square kilometre), of which, 890.87 square miles (2307.34 square kilometre) of it is land and 7.23 square miles (18.73 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 16th largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

The population's age distribution was 21.5% under the age of 18, 13.6% from 18 to 24, 25.5% from 25 to 44, 22.7% from 45 to 64, and 16.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.2 males. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 37038, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 97.68% White, 0.84% Black or African American, 0.14% American Indian, 0.7% Asian, 0.02% Native Hawaiian, and 0.61% from two or more races.
