Clinton City, Davis County, Utah is a city located in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 12585 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 19855, making it the 41st most populous in Utah. Its area is just over 5.5 mi˛ (14.24 sq km), giving it the 127th largest by total area among Utah.

As of the census of 2000, there were 12585 residents, 3529 households, and 3136 families in the city. There were 3643 housing units at an average density of 662.4 per square mile (255.75/km˛). It has an average household size was 3.55 persons, and the average family size was 3.76 persons. In the city the population was spread out, with 37.8% under the age of 18, 11.7% from 18 to 24, 31.8% from 25 to 44, 14.8% from 45 to 64, and 4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 98.1 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 100.7 females. The racial makeup of the city was 90.35% White, 1.01% Black or African American, 0.63% American Indian, 1.78% Asian, 0.31% Native Hawaiian, 2.3% from two or more races and 3.62% Other races.
