Clinton City, Oklahoma is a city of the Custer and Washita counties, Oklahoma, United States. As of 2000 the population was 8833. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 8768, It is 44th most populous in Oklahoma. The city comprises an area of 8.95 square miles (23.18 kmē), of which, 8.93 square miles (23.13 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 119th largest by total area in Oklahoma.

As of the census of 2000, there were 8833 people, 3331 households, and 2266 families living in the city. The population density was 989.1 people per square mile (381.89/kmē), it is Oklahoma's 193rd most densely populated city. There were 3818 housing units at an average density of 427.5 per square mile (165.06/kmē). The average household size was 2.55 people, and the average family size was 3.14 people.
