Clinton City is a city located in Van Buren County, Arkansas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 2283 as per the Census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 2470, It is 118th most populous in Arkansas. It has total area of 11.58 sq mi (29.99 square kilometre), of which, 11.4 square miles (29.53 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.19 square miles (0.49 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 37th largest by size in Arkansas.

The median age is 41.8 years, the median age of male residents at 38.4 and the median age of female residents at 44.6. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 95.66% White, 0.09% Black or African American, 0.74% American Indian, 0.13% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 2.06% from two or more races and 1.31% Other races.
