Clifton Town is a town located in the Greenlee County, Arizona, United States. As of 2000 the population was 2596. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 2451, It is Arizona's 123rd largest by population . The town has a total area of 14.98 mi˛ (38.8 sq km), of which, 14.85 square miles (38.46 sq km) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 sq km) of it is water, making it the 101st largest by size in Arizona. It is ranks 19 in the size of its inland waterways in Arizona.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2596 people in the town, organized into 919 households, and 686 families living in the town. The population density was 174.8 people per square mile (67.49/km˛), making its Arizona's 151st most densely populated town.
