Clifton City is a one of the Franklin County, Idaho, located in Western Region (Mountain) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 213. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 238, making it the 37th least populous in Idaho. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.25 square miles (5.83 kmē), it is the 48th largest in terms of geographical size.
