It is the 161st least populous in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is spread over 0.95 sq mi (2.46 square kilometre), of which, 0.93 square miles (2.41 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 78th smallest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3538 people in the census designated place, organized into 457 households, and 284 families living in the census designated place.
