Clifford City is one of the city of Traill County, North Dakota, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 51 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 47, It is 60th least populous in North Dakota. Its area is just over 0.14 sq mi (0.36 sq km), makes it the 24th smallest by total area in North Dakota.
