Cleveland County is a county in the United States of Oklahoma. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 208016 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 239760, giving it the third largest population among Oklahoma's county. The county extends throughout a territory of 558.34 square miles (1446.09 sq km ), of which, 536.11 square miles (1388.52 sq km) of it is land and 22.23 square miles (57.58 sq km) of it is water, makes it the eighth smallest by total area in Oklahoma.

The population density was 388 people per square mile (149.81/kmē), it is third most densely populated county in Oklahoma. There were 84844 housing units at an average density of 158.3 per square mile (61.12/kmē). The average household size was 2.51 and the average family size was 3.02. In the county Age distribution was 24.5% under the age of 18, 14.7% from 18 to 24, 30.7% from 25 to 44, 21.7% from 45 to 64, and 8.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 100.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.5 males. The July 2008 population estimate is 239760, The racial makeup of the county was 199048 White, 11843 Black or African American, 10978 American Indian, 9113 Asian, 139 Native Hawaiian, and 8639 from two or more races.
