Clemson City is a United States city located in the Pickens and Anderson counties, South Carolina, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 11939 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 13012, It is South Carolina's 37th largest by population . The city spans an area of 7.79 sq mi (20.18 sq km), of which, 7.37 square miles (19.09 sq km) of it is land and 0.42 square miles (1.09 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 64th largest by total area in South Carolina.

The median age was 24.6 years, the median age of male residents at 24.2 and the median age of female residents at 25.8. The racial makeup of the city was 80.98% White, 11.38% Black or African American, 0.11% American Indian, 5.73% Asian, 0.03% Native Hawaiian, 1.05% from two or more races and 0.73% Other races.
