Clementon Borough is a one of the Camden County, New Jersey, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 4986. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 4886, making it New Jersey's 284th largest. It is spread over 1.95 mi˛ (5.05 sq km), of which, 1.89 square miles (4.9 sq km ) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 sq km) of it is water, making it the 297th largest by size in New Jersey.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 4986 people, 457 households, and 284 families living in the borough. The population density was 2636.3 people per square mile (1017.88/km˛), making it the 280th most densely populated borough in New Jersey. There were 2206 housing units at an average density of 1167.2 per square mile (450.66/km˛). The average household size was 2.52 persons, and the average family size was 3.13 persons. The population's age distribution was 24.7% under the age of 18, 8.6% from 18 to 24, 33.5% from 25 to 44, 22.1% from 45 to 64, and 11.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 93.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.5 males. The median age was 35.3 years, the median age of male residents at 34.3 and the median age of female residents at 36.5. The racial makeup of the borough was 82.23% White, 11.57% Black or African American, 0.22% American Indian, 0.92% Asian, 0.18% Native Hawaiian, 2.53% from two or more races and 2.35% Other races.
