Cleburne County is a one of the county from Alabama's 67 counties, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of the county was 14123 as per the 2000 census data. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 14799, making it the 13th least populous county in Alabama. It has total area of 561.02 sq mi (1453.04 square kilometre), of which, 560.21 square miles (1450.94 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.81 square miles (2.1 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the second smallest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.
