Clearwater City is a city located in Pinellas County, Florida, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The city has a population of 108787 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 105774, It is Florida's 12th largest by population . According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 37.72 square miles (97.69 square kilometre), of which, 25.29 square miles (65.5 square kilometre) of it is land and 12.44 square miles (32.22 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Florida's 31st largest by total area. It is ranks 17 in the size of its inland waterways in Florida.
