Clearlake City is a United States city located in the Lake County, California, United States. The population of the city was 13142 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 15040, giving it the 383rd largest population among California. The city spans an area of 10.61 square miles (27.48 square kilometre), of which, 10.18 square miles (26.37 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.43 square miles (1.11 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 314th largest by total area among California.
