Clayton Village is a United States city located in the Jefferson County, New York, United States. In 2000, the population was 1821. The July 2008 population estimate is 1873, It is New York's 620th largest by population . The city spans an area of 2.56 sq mi (6.63 kmē), of which, 1.62 square miles (4.2 kmē) of it is land and 0.94 square miles (2.43 kmē) of it is water, it is the 441st largest in terms of geographical size.
