Clayton Town, Oklahoma is a town of the Pushmataha County, Oklahoma, United States. In 2000, the population was 719. Its population was estimated at 727 in July 2008, making it the 282nd most populous in Oklahoma. The town has a total area of 1.71 sq mi (4.43 kmē), of which, 1.7 square miles (4.4 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 306th largest by total area among Oklahoma.
