Clay Town, Clay County, West Virginia is a town located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 593. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 561, making it the 85th least populous in West Virginia. The town spans an area of 0.63 square miles (1.63 square kilometre), of which, 0.57 square miles (1.48 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 185th largest by total area among West Virginia.
