Clay City Village is a city located in Clay County, Illinois, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. It is home to over 1000 people (2000 census). The July 2008 population estimate is 939, It is Illinois's 689th largest by population . Its area is just over 1.78 sq mi (4.61 square kilometre), making it Illinois's 485th largest by total area.
