Clarksville Town is a town located in Mecklenburg and Halifax counties, Virginia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1329 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 1258, making it the 218th most populous in Virginia. It is spread over 2.01 square miles (5.21 sq km), of which, 1.98 square miles (5.13 sq km ) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, it is the 235th largest by area in the U.S. state of Virginia.
