Clarksville City City is a city located in the Gregg and Upshur counties, Texas, United States. In 2000, the population was 806. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 844, giving it the 991st largest population among Texas. The city encompasses an area of 6.47 square miles (16.76 kmē ), of which, 6.3 square miles (16.32 kmē) of it is land and 0.16 square miles (0.41 kmē) of it is water, it is the 343rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Texas.
