Clarkston City is a city located in DeKalb County, Georgia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 7231 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 7836, giving it the 104th largest population among Georgia. The city comprises an area of 1.06 miē (2.75 kmē), of which, 1.05 square miles (2.72 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, making it Georgia's 122nd smallest by total area.
