Clarksdale City is one of the city of Coahoma County, Mississippi, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 20645 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 18006, It is the 16th largest in terms of population. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 13.85 sq mi (35.87 square kilometre), of which, 13.84 square miles (35.85 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 38th largest by area in the U.S. state of Mississippi.
