Clarkesville City, Habersham County, Georgia is a city located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 1248 people (2000 census). Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1703, giving it the 304th largest population among Georgia. The city comprises an area of 1.86 square miles (4.82 kmē), makes it the 383rd largest by total area in Georgia.
