Clark County is a county located in Kentucky, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. In 2000, county's population was 33144 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 35691, It is the 31st largest in terms of population. It is spread over 255.16 square miles (660.86 kmē), of which, 254.31 square miles (658.66 kmē ) of it is land and 0.85 square miles (2.2 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 34th smallest by total area among Kentucky's county.

In the county Population was distributed with 24.8% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 30.3% from 25 to 44, 24.3% from 45 to 64, and 12.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 93.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.8 males.
