Clark County is a county located in Kansas, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. It is home to over 2390 people (2000 census). In July 2008, its estimated population was 2108, It is the sixth smallest county by population in the U.S. state of Kansas. The county spans an area of 977.2 square miles (2530.94 square kilometre), of which, 974.68 square miles (2524.41 square kilometre) of it is land and 2.52 square miles (6.53 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 19th largest by area in the U.S. state of Kansas.

The population density was 2.5 people per square mile (0.97/kmē), it is Kansas's fourth least densely populated county. There were 1111 housing units at an average density of 1.1 per square mile (0.42/kmē). The average household size was 2.39 people, and the average family size was 2.95 people. In the Clark County, 26.6% of the population was under the age of 18, 4.9% were 18 to 24, 23.1% were 25 to 44, 23.6% were 45 to 64, and 21.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 95.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.5 males.
