Clare City is a one of the Clare and Isabella counties, Michigan, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 3173 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 3093, It is the 241st largest in terms of population. It is spread over 3.21 mi˛ (8.31 sq km), of which, 3.12 square miles (8.08 sq km ) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 229th largest by total area in Michigan.
