Claflin City is a city located in Barton County, Kansas, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 705 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 654 in July 2008, It is the 249th largest by population in the U.S. state of Kansas. It covers total area of 0.33 mi˛ (0.85 sq km), making it the 405th largest by size in Kansas.
