City View Cdp is a census designated place located in Greenville County, South Carolina, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 1254. It is the 209th most populous in the U.S. state of South Carolina. It is spread over 0.54 miē (1.4 kmē), of which, 0.53 square miles (1.37 kmē ) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, making it South Carolina's 13th smallest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1254 people, 469 households, and 297 families residing in the census designated place. The population density was 2355 people per square mile (909.27/kmē), it is South Carolina's seventh most densely populated census designated place. There were 575 housing units at an average density of 1084.9 per square mile (418.88/kmē). The average household size was 2.67 persons, and the average family size was 3.32 persons.
