Cincinnati City is a city located in Hamilton County, Ohio, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 331285 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 333336, It is the third most populous in the U.S. state of Ohio. The city comprises an area of 79.57 sq mi (206.09 kmē), of which, 77.97 square miles (201.94 kmē) of it is land and 1.6 square miles (4.14 kmē) of it is water, it is the fourth largest by area in the U.S. state of Ohio. It is ranks eighth in the size of its inland waterways in Ohio.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 331285 residents, 148095 households, and 72496 families in the city. The population density was 4249 people per square mile (1640.55/kmē), making its Ohio's 36th most densely populated city. The median age was 32.1 years, the median age of male residents at 30.7 and the median age of female residents at 33.7. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 52.97% White, 42.92% Black or African American, 0.21% American Indian, 1.55% Asian, 0.04% Native Hawaiian, 1.68% from two or more races and 0.63% Other races.
