Christian County is a United States county located in the United States of Missouri. In 2000, the population was 54285. Its population was estimated at 75479 in July 2008, It is the 14th most populous county in the U.S. state of Missouri. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 564.05 square miles (1460.88 kmē), of which, 563.16 square miles (1458.58 kmē) of it is land and 0.89 square miles (2.31 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 65th largest by total area among Missouri's county.

The population's age distribution was 27.8% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 31.7% from 25 to 44, 21.8% from 45 to 64, and 10.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.5 males. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 75479, The racial makeup of the county was 73046 White, 685 Black or African American, 408 American Indian, 328 Asian, 20 Native Hawaiian, and 992 from two or more races.
