The census designated place encompasses an area of 95.77 square miles (248.04 square kilometre ), of which, 84.64 square miles (219.22 square kilometre) of it is land and 11.13 square miles (28.83 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Alaska's 67th largest by total area.
