Chickasaw County is a one of the county from Iowa's 99 counties, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. It is home to over 13095 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 12121, It is Iowa's 64th most populous county. It is spread over 505.48 mi˛ (1309.19 sq km), of which, 504.64 square miles (1307.01 sq km ) of it is land and 0.84 square miles (2.18 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 30th smallest by total area in Iowa.
