Chewelah City is a one of the Stevens County, Washington, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 2186 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 2300 in July 2008, It is the 262nd largest by population in the U.S. state of Washington. The city extends throughout a territory of 2.94 sq mi (7.61 sq km ), it is the 269th largest by area in the U.S. state of Washington.
