Chesterton Town is one of the town of Porter County, Indiana, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. Chesterton Town had an official population of 10488 in 2000. The town extends throughout a territory of 8.63 square miles (22.35 sq km ), of which, 8.51 square miles (22.04 sq km) of it is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 51st largest by total area among Indiana.
