Chester City is a city in the Howard County, Iowa, United States. As of 2000 the population was 151. The July 2008 population estimate is 137, giving it the 171st smallest population among Iowa. The city comprises an area of 1.33 mi˛ (3.44 sq km), making it Iowa's 269th largest by total area.
