Chatham Town, Pittsylvania County, Virginia is a town located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1338 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 1518, giving it the 215th largest population among Virginia. The town has a total area of 2.05 square miles (5.31 kmē), making it Virginia's 229th largest by total area.
